I thought I would follow-up on last weeks post about the release of the OCB 2011 Holiday Discovery Pack, and give you a look at what is to come. Did you pick one up for yourself yet? No?! Why would you miss out on this box full of awesomeness! I’ll help you out: You can search for your nearest pack here – LCBO. It’s only $11.95!
So this is what you get in the pack:
From left to right: Nickel Brook Brewing Nickel Brook Ale, Trafalgar Brewery Smoked Oatmeal Stout, Old Credit Brewery Old Credit Amber Ale, Muskoka Cottage Brewery Mad Tom IPA, F&M Brewery Stonehammer Dark Ale, and Black Oak Brewing Black Oak Nut Brown Ale.
Note the handy Craft Beer Style Guide. This guide has a nice check list so you can track what beers you have had. OCB makes this available as a PDF online here.
Over the next week I will sample each beer and post my thoughts. If you want to try tasting and evaluating the beer yourself, take a look at the OCB’s interactive tasting tool – Interactive Tasting Tool
